F.I.R.E.S. courses are better because:

We've learned that very few other courses compare to ours. We've learned that our courses contain more information. Our courses teach more realistic, sometimes innovative, up to date, and very safe techniques.

F.I.R.E.S. teaches with a greater instructor to student ratio than just about anyone. For example: our 30 student/30 hour Basic Rope Rescue Course uses 5 instructors. That's a 6:1 ratio for this course and for most of our other courses!

Our instructors are not just "instructors from off the streets." We train our own instructors! They work for years before they become asst. instructors and (some) eventually lead instructors.

We have more top quality equipment, for our students to use, than just about anyone. We provide the largest privately owned rope rescue equipment cache in North America.
