Certification

After an individual satisfactorily completes a F.I.R.E.S. course, that individual will be given the appropriate certification from F.I.R.E.S. We are proud of our certifications. In most cases, they mean a lot more than certificates from similar courses. In order to earn certification our students have to work harder and learn more, then they do from most instructors, institutions, or companies.

We have proven over the years that in all cases various Federal, States, County, and Municipal governments, colleges, universities, fire, rescue, EMS, and other organizations have accepted, certified, and/or accredited our courses. In several cases, they have adopted our courses for their own use, to be taught by their own instructors.

Being completely bias we still feel that F.I.R.E.S. can teach these courses much better than anyone else. We "wrote the book," so to speak. We feel our instructors are better trained and more qualified. Our instructors teach it more often, with more intensity, more in-depth, and have a lot more fun than other instructors. Our instructor to student ratio is higher. We provide more equipment than anyone else (in most classes). And . . . we teach it because we love doing it, not because we want or need "that extra paycheck."
