Prerequisite: Level IV, or Advanced Rope Rescue, or The E.U.S.T.R.S.

This course takes those skills learned about highlines during our advanced courses and polishes and hones the rescuer's abilities and their confidence levels to new heights.

The course begins with a "ground level review" and progresses through its' 3 days to a truly BIG evolution. The students will learn many techniques that only experience can bring. They will learn to keep it simple, yet they will know advanced techniques, so that if and when advanced techniques become necessary they will be comfortable using them. The course teaches basic systems, raising and lowering systems, and progresses to the Kootenay Highline System incorporating a Full English Reeve. This course uses extensive equipment and "long ropes." The students will build between 6 and 10 highlines during this course (depending on: location, number of students, the group abilities and comprehension, and the weather.
