Specialized Emergency Rope Rescue

16 Hours - 15 to 30 Students

This course was specially designed for those people who do not do rescue, but need to understand rope, rope equipment, and basic rescue techniques. No matter if it is for their job or to supplement another course, such as our CONFINED SPACE course, this is the course.

This course teaches them about ropes, harnesses, and related rescue equipment. They learn about knots, litters, litter packaging, and tie-ins. They learn about basic hauling systems, and lowering systems, and how to properly "safety" these systems. They learn various belaying techniques. And, they learn about BI-pods, tripods, and more.
