Technical Rope Rescue
Level I

16 Hours - 15 to 30 Students

* This course was designed for "fire school - weekends."

This weekend course teaches the essentials, to the beginner. It teaches the student the "rescue basics." The course covers: ropes and equipment, knots, and basic rigging.

It teaches litter packaging, litter tie-ins, and litter handling. The course teaches basic anchor rigging. The students also learn about: rappelling, tying off, and self-rescue. It gives a brief overview of belay techniques. It will also teach the student how to do 1 person rescues.
