Fire Rescue for Industrial or Institutional Fire Departments

30 Hours - 12 to 24 Students

This is a specialized course for in-plant fire brigades, fire depts., rescue teams, or institutional quick response units. This course concentrates on non-technical rescue techniques. It shows how to utilize ladders in exterior evolutions involving confined spaces, window, and other vertically oriented rescue evolutions. Time is also spent on actual ladder rescues. We devote a section to lifts, drags, and carries, students get to concentrate on their SCBA skills, and techniques. This is a good general rescue course utilizing both old proven methods and some new technology and methods. The course teaches you to know your own abilities as well as you own limitations.

Don't count on your local fire department to have all the answers. Often, they don't. This course will increase the injured employee's chance of surviving. It teaches the importance of the golden hour. Make your fire brigade or technical rescue team proficient, effective, and safe.
