Confined Space Entry & Rescue

Prerequisite: Specialized Indust. Emergency Rope Rescue or Basic Indust. Rope Handling, Safety, & Rescue

This is a comprehensive course designed and written by F.I.R.E.S. to be "custom fit" to the needs of individual teams and facility. We are proud to say that this is probably one of the best confined space courses available anywhere. The course teaches a safe approach to entry into confined spaces. It emphasizes the rules and regulations associated with OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, and other groups and their association with industry and confined spaces.

This course teaches the students the step by step methodology needed to stay alive when operating in and around confined spaces. The course teaches the "rescue basics" needed to keep employees and each other alive. The course was designed to allow team members to be safe entrants and to be capable of doing actual rescues, should the need arise. This course is much more than "just a legal excuse to sign-off for OSHA."
